A rite of passage

I've been waiting for it to happen.

There would be a child who would see fit to cut some of their hair.

It wasn't bad.

I wanted to laugh, yet needed to let her know that "this wasn't o.k."

I kept my cool.

I took pictures.

I laughed a lot when she couldn't hear me.

I wouldn't want her to do it again.
