Dear Garrison and Noel

It was one week ago that we left, that we were on a plane for China to go and get your brother Simon. It was hard to leave you, yet we knew that we had to go. You've had so many adventures since we left: you've been watched and loved by Aunt Gigi, Uncle Koe, Aunt Tricia, Uncle Matt, Grammy and Gramps. You've lived in two different places and even both had ear infections. Tomorrow, Mr. Jim, Mrs. Rebecca, and Lydia are coming to your house to take care of you. You are having fun and will continue to have more fun.

But, the best is yet to come. You see, in just over a week, we'll be coming home with Simon. He is more than we ever hoped or imagined. Garrison, he loves cars and trucks. He likes to hit the blue ball with a chopstick all over the house. I think you'll have so much fun playing with him. He is very good about going to bed and I think he'll like sharing a room with you. He used to share a room with six other children and right now he is sharing with mommy and daddy. Noel, you are going to have another big brother. I'm glad that you are sassy enough to hold your own. You'll love running with Simon. He loves to climb and jump and run. . . just like you. You'll be my little monkeys. He is out eating you little girl. I didn't think anyone could out eat you. Most of all kids, he loves to laugh and he knows Jesus. We sing Jesus Loves Me together every day. It'll be fun to sing it together as a family. He cried for the first time today. Mommy left the restaurant early because it was past Simon's bedtime. Simon was very sad to leave his daddy and cried as we walked out. Do you know what that means? It mean he loves his daddy very much, just like you. He is also learning lots of words. You won't be able to understand most of what he says, but he'll learn more and more every day.

We miss you and love you. We wish we could come home earlier, but we need to stay here and do some more paperwork. We get Simon's passport tomorrow before we fly to Guangshou. There, we'll have some more appointments with the U.S. government. Enjoy your last day with Grammy and your time with the Petersons.
